The workshop on ‘Challenges faced by UPSC Aspirants while preparing for the Examination’ commenced at 04:00 p.m. on 16th February 2022, via Google meet In the presence of Dr. T. Felix Kala, Joint Registrar – Student Affairs, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Dr. S. Padmasani Kannan, Director, The Literary Seminary, Dr. R. Pushkala,Dean, Department of English and In charge of The Literary Seminary , and Ms. A. Thangam, Convenor, The Literary Seminary.The workshop started with an introduction that was given by Mr. I.J. Roger Samuel, a student member of The Literary Seminary. Then, Ms. Vignaya Darshini delivered the Welcome address. The welcome address was followed by a special address given by Ms. S. Sowmiya. Following this, Ms. Ridha Fathima gave a brief introduction about the speaker, Mr. A. Manikandan IAS, Chief Development Officer, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh. Our speaker then took over the digital platform and explained to the
students about the various aspects that one goes through while preparing for UPSC Examinations. He briefly discussed the exam pattern and the syllabus that must be followed when preparing for UPSC examinations. He then explained the importance of time management and also motivated the students to pursue their dreams without fear. The session was followed by a question and answer round. Participants put forth their questions and they were briefly answered by our speaker. It was an interactive session, we learned a lot, and also received positive feedback. After this, Ms. K. Keerthana delivered the vote of thanks and the meeting came to an end at 05:00 p.m.
