The Department of Financial Planning organized webinar on”Corporate Governance And Ethics”on 25/11/2022 in G-Meet. The Guest speaker and expert of the session was Dr.B.N. Suresh Kumar, Professor and Research Supervisor, Department of Management Studies, St.Peter’s University Chennai. The session began with the welcome address by the Head of the Department- Dr. J. Sridevi followed by the introduction of the speaker by Ms. Anurekha, Assistant Professor. The Guest speaker overtook the session . He shared the fundamental objective of corporate governance which helps to boost and maximize shareholder value and explained how to protect the interest of other stake holders. The Guest speaker used real life examples which were useful to the students. The session was interactive and informative. The session ended with the vote of thanks.
