The Department of ECE in association with Academic Staff college organizes six days FDP program on “Recent trends in 5G Technologies” from 6.12.2021-11.12.2021.The DAY 5 (10.12.2021)session was about “The Role of 5G in Surveillance and Strategies for Defence Services”.The Resource person was Mr.Madhanmohan, Former Sergeant and Crew Chief,Indian Airforce.
The event started off with a welcome address by Ms.U. Jayalatsumi,Head, Dept.of ECE followed by the session speaker introduction by Ms.K.S.Thivya,Professor,Dept of ECE.The expert member detailed about the features of 5G technology and adoption of 5G technologies in AI based unmanned vehicles in Defence services.The session was highly informative and useful. The session was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. N.Lakshminarayanan, Assistant Professor,Dept.of ECE.The event was coordinated by Dr.M.Kumaresan and Mr.K.Manivannan.We thank our Honourable President and executives for offering us the constant support and encouragement.
