The faculty of law has organised the 58th of 75 special Lecture series on “The Overview of Computation of Head Income from salary under the Indian Tax laws” on 22nd July 2024, from 12:00 am to 1:50 pm at the Phase 2 campus, DR.MGRERI. The Chief speaker of the day was Ms. Vaishali, Faculty of law, VIT. The speaker discussed about the Income from Salary, Income from House Property, Income from Profits and Gains from Business or Profession, Income from Capital Gains and Income from Other Sources. The speaker also elaborated the taxability of income from Salary. The speaker elaborated on the components of the Salary like Monetary compensation, Perquisites etc. The lecture was very informative to the students. The session was organised by Mrs. R.Shalini.
