With immense pleasure we would like to share the report of the teacher’s day celebration held on 3.8.2021at 2.00 pm through offline 35 students as well as zoom link and you tube with 145 participants. The session was hosted by Ms. J. Vigneshwari and the virtual gathering was welcomed by Principal, Faculty of Education. Dr. S. Geethalakshmi Vice Chancellor who is an encouraging person wished everyone happy teachers day in advance over phone call and Dr. D. Viswanathan, Rector in the keynote address specified on intellectual knowledge and to concentrate more on values and spiritual knowledge. Prof. Radhika, Addl. Registrar phase 2 campus inspired the audience through her felicitation address. The resource person Dr. A. Subramanian Asst. Prof. and Head i/c, Dept. of Education University of Madras, Chennai was introduced by Ms. L. Maria Suganthi Asst. Prof. from the Faculty of Education. The guest motivated the audience through his words to inculcate the knowledge through reading more and also elaborated the role of the teachers in molding the life of the students and training them to face the challenges boldly. The second interesting cultural session by the students was hosted by Mr. Anil Verma and Ms. Mousumi Biswas. The cultural events had poetry dedication by the students ‘own composition to the teachers in Tamil by Ms. Jancy and Ms.Sruthi Meera and in English by Ms.Ranjana was remarkable. The melody dedication in Tamil by Ms.Vasundhara by playing guitar 🎸 and a song by Mr. Anil Verma in Hindi was mesmerizing. The moments of connections hosted by Swetha, Azar and Vasundhara made the enthusiastic audience to participate with full of zeal. The debate on online vs offline education hosted by Mr. Azar Muhammed enthralled the participants with humorous sense by the eminent argument on online education by Ms. Nisha, Ms.V. Divya and Ms. Abhinaya and on offline education by Ms. Akshaya, Ms. Mariya Sneha and Ms. Kousalya. Finally inspirational thoughts by Ms. Nithya Priya was mind blowing. The session came to an end with the announcement of the prize winners of the games Connections and Game show followed by Vote of thanks by Mr. Febin David and National Anthem.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our honorable President for encouraging us to celebrate the teacher’s day in a grand manner through virtual portal. Our gratitude is extended to all the executives for their continuous support throughout our endeavor.
