The Literary Seminary, A professional Society of Dr. M. G. R. Educational and Research Institute organized a workshop on the topic ‘The Scope and Prospects on Study Abroad’ on October 11, 2021, from 4:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. The Session was initiated with the welcome address by Ms. Sowmiya, a Student Member of The Literary Seminary, with the presence of Ms. B. Suchithra, Dean Events, Dr. R. Pushkala, Dean Department of English, Incharge of The Literary Seminary, Ms. A. Thangam, Convenor, The Literary Seminary. In her remarks about the workshop, Ms. B. Suchithra shared a few words with the participants. It was followed by the introduction of the speaker by Mr. Sathish, a Student Member of The literary seminary. Ms. Vinitha Thomas, Branch Manager for IDP Chennai Adayar Branch, started the workshop with an introduction to the scope of applying Education Abroad. She gave an overview of the benefits of receiving education abroad, the requirements for pursuing education abroad, and how studying abroad gives an experience of a lifetime for students to gain. The Workshop was very interactive, which was followed by a very lively question and answer session from the participants which were diligently answered by Ms. Vinitha Thomas. The Session ended with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr.Sathish to the Speaker, Ms. Vinitha Thomas for sharing her invaluable wisdom, Ms. B. Suchithra, Dean Events, Dr. R. Pushkala, Dean Department of English, Incharge of the literary seminary, and Ms. A. Thangam, Convenor, The Literary Seminary for grazing this occasion with their presence. The workshop concluded with positive feedback from the participants.
