These are the points which are discussed in the symposium
- Types of exploitation including slavery , sexual exploitation , physical exploitation
- The consent of victim is immaterial
- Victims thinking as if they are in a right path because of not having the knowledge of whats
being in right path is - Components in article 370 of ipc An act (what is done); (2) The means (how it is done); and (3)
Exploitative purpose (why it is done). - Highlights that this is an non bailable offence
- Bonded labour person becomes a bonded labourer when their labour is demanded as a means
of repayment for a loan. The person is then tricked or trapped into working for very little or no
pay. Bonded labour is prohibited in India by law vide Articles 21 and 23 of the Constitution - When the importance of deprivation of rights are known as far as the people are not aware of
how and what they are deprived of .
8.Debtor obligation The obligation may arise in various ways, but it is most commonly the result of
a commercial transaction or contract between the parties . Loan is the best example - When the rights are curbed they are been denoted as bonded labour
- As of now this is 1st state to take action against with proper procedure involved
- pocso ,section 370 like theis there are many
- Suragacy is the evolving concept where the girls are used for this and paid low wages by many hospitals
- To scan the offences first we need to wear the glass of section 370 and see.
