Report on Career Opportunities in Modular Construction Technology

Respected Sir/Madam, The Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute organized a Alumni lecture on “Career opportunities in Modular Construction Technology on 1st April 2022 at 11.00 am for the students of B.Tech Civil Engineering, M.Tech Structural Engineering, M.Tech Construction Engineering and Management. Dr.T.Kavitha Head Civil Engg, delivered the welcome address. Dr.Arivumangai Associate Professor, introduced the alumni speaker to the students. The resource person for the session is Er.P.Sandhya (Batch 2015-2019), Structural Design Engineer Modulus Housing Solutions incubated with IIT madras Taramani, Chennai. She elaborated about the modular construction techniques and its advantages including job opportunities in this particular domain and motivated the students for choosing their career path. Students actively participated in this program and interacted with speaker by raising more questions and gained knowledge. The Program was organized by A. Hemamaline, Assistant professor.
