The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organised an “Alumni Interaction Series XIV” for the IIInd year CSE students of Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute on 09/03/2022 from 2:00-3:00 PM on the Zoom Platform.
Ms.S.Iswarya III Year CSE-B hosted the event and Head of the Department of COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, Dr.S.Geetha, gave a brief introduction about the Guest Speaker of the day, Mr. Jayendu Shrawana, Senior Mainframe Engineer, Fidelity National Information Service, Bangalore.
Mr. Jayendu Shrawana started the session by explaining about the mainframe domain. The speaker explained about various domains and the skills needed to work in the respective domain. The speaker encouraged the students and inspired them by highlighting the directions for taking their next step forward. By the end of the session students got their queries answered by the speaker.
Mrs. S. Amudha, the organising secretary, conveyed her thanks to the speaker and with that the session came to an end. The session was very informative and interactive, highlighting the importance of projects.
The Alumni event was organised by Mr. Syed Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE and Mrs.S.Amudha, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE.
