Report on 6 – days Faculty Development Program on Intellectual Property Rights

The Department of Civil Engineering & Department of Electronics and Communication in association with Academic Staff College Organized a 6 – days Faculty Development Program on Intellectual Property Rights from 09th May 2022 to 14th May 2022 through Zoom platform. The Day 2 started off with a Welcome Address by Dr.RA.B.Depaa Deputy Head/Civil Engineering Department.Mrs.V.Priyadarshini & Mrs.A.Hemamalinie Assistant professors, introduced the First and second session speakers to the audience. First Session Speaker Mrs.SHALINI.R Assistant Professor, Department of Law, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute delivered about Criteria and Procedure to Obtain Patents. Second Session Speaker Mr.CEDRIC MANUEL C.E.O CIntelligences services private limited elaborated about prerequisites of patenting. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr.M.Manikandan,Assistant Professor /Civil Department. We thank our Honorable President for his constant support and encouragement.
