Faculty of Education feels elated to share the report of Leo Orientation Programme held on 21st April, 2022 @ 10:30 a.m in the smart room, Phase 2 Campus. The chief guests of the day were Mr. Lion Raajan Srinivasan, District Governor, Chennai, Mrs. Leo Lion Keethi Dakki, District Chairperson, Mr. Lion V. Ramesh Babu(SCA)(IPDG, Multiple Council Treasure). The session started with Tamizh Thai Vazthu followed by welcome address. The felicitation address wonderfully delivered by the Prof. V. Radhika, Additional Registrar, Dr MGRERI.
The session was further hosted by Mr. Lion Raajan Srinivasan. He shared his experiences and the importance of having a heart of service. It was further handed over to Mr. Lion V.Ramesh Babu. He addressed the budding teachers as “The Architectures of Future India”. He educated the gathering by sharing the history of Lion’s club and the goal, “Building Good skills for future India”. He further spoke about the reasons and the structure of the LEO club. Questions were asked to make the session more alive and interactive. He further inculcated the “act of togetherness” and the “Importance of service”. “Thevai Aarinthu sevai sai” is their motto.
The session came to an end with question time, followed by Vote of Thanks and National Anthem. It was a very motivating and inspiring session that emphasized the importance of helping others together.
The faculty is pleased to express its gratitude to our honourable President for the opportunity to organise this event that enkindle the minds of the learning fraternity. We also extend our gratefulness to all the executives for their constant encouragement.
