The Faculty of Law organised the Orientation programme for the 2022-23 Batch students from B.A. LL.B (Hons), B.Com. LL.B (Hons) and BBA. LL.B (Hons) degree programs on 2nd September 2022 between 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The Speaker of this session was Mr. V. Sithanan, Superintendent of police (retd), formerly principal, Tamilnadu Police Academy. The Orientation Program gave an insight about the Law courses in our University. The session was initiated by lightening of kuthuvilakku by our President, Er. A.C.S.Arun Kumar sir. The welcome address was given by our Dean Prof. Dr. K.Murugadoss sir. The special address was given by our Executive Director Prof. Dr. G.C. Kothandan sir. The presidential address was given by our Director Dr. N.Murugavel.
The speaker of the day explored and created awareness and also sensitisied the students in judicial and administrative matters. As an Eyeopener session he oriented the students in the areas involving social issues, current national and international topics, Criminal Law related topics and latest judgements by inculcating the same from his own personal experiences. A special thanks to our President Er. A.C.S.Arun Kumar sir and our Vice chancellor Prof. Dr. S. Geethalakshmi Mam for gracing the occasion.
