The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with IETE professional society conducted an online seminar on the topic ‘MEMS Sensors : A Systematic Approach ‘ on 02/09/2022 at 10.00 am in Zoom meeting. The event started with the welcome note by Mrs.U.Jayalatsumi HOD-ECE. Mr.Lakshmi Narayanan Assistant Professor
/ ECE introduced the guest speaker to the audience.The speaker for the event was Dr. Aditi , Principal Scientist at CSIR – CEERI, Academy Of Scientific and Innovative Research Institute (AcSIR). The speaker enlightened students with her research expertise in the field MEMS particularly about the design and development of Micro Sensors, Ultrasonic transducers, Micro cantalevers, micro mirrors, etc . She also outlined the fabrication techniques involving wafer space bonding, UV-LIGA, dry and wet micromachining.The session was very interactive and useful.The event was coordinated by Dr. T. Vimala Professor/ECE. The Department wholeheartedly thank our Honorable President for his constant support and all the executives for their continuous encouragement in organizing the event.
