The Department of Civil Engineering proudly presents National Level Virtual Conference on Emerging trends in Civil Engineering – Paalam 2022 during 19th & 20th May 2022 through Zoom platform. The Day 1 started with inauguration at 10.30 AM. Dr.T.Kavitha,Head/Civil Engineering Department welcomed the gathering. Presidential Address was delivered by our respected Vice Chancellor Dr.S.Geethalakshmi mam. Our respected Rector, Dr.D.Viswanathan gave his valuable special address. Dr.R.Sudhakar, Dy.Dean /Civil, introduced the Chief Guest Dr.S.Parivallal, Chief Scientist & Head, CSIR-SERC who proudly released the conference proceedings and delivered the inaugural address. Technical Session- I started with a special address from Dr.V.Cyril Raj, Additional Registrar, Academics. Dr.M.Narmadha Dy.Dean Smart /Green Campus introduced the keynote speaker, Mr.N.Asupathi, Technical Manager, Pidilite shared his presentation on the topic “Advanced Construction Materials and its Applications.” Dr.S.Arivalagan, Joint Registrar, Infrastructure and Dr.C.Vaidevi, Associate Professor, AVITC, Chennai as session heads, day one session was completed successfully with paper presentations from various affiliations and in different research topics of civil domain. We thank our Honorable President sir for his constant support and encouragement in all our activities.
