Respected Sir/Madam, The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a National conference on Trends and Innovations in Mechanical Engineering TIME 5.0-2022 today 27.04.2022 by Virtual mode. The inaugural function was started at 10.00AM.
Welcome Address was given by Dr.K.Rajan, HOD/Mechanical and was followed by Inaugural Address speech by respected Vice Chancellor Dr.S.Geethalaksmi mam. Later Proceedings (CD) was released by our Respected and Honourable President Er.A.C.SArun Kumar. Respected and Honourable Rector of our University, Dr.Vishwanathan Sir delivered his guest of honour speech.
Dr.Ravichandraganesh, Associate Professor, introduced the Chief Guest Dr.L.SJayakumari mam which was followed by felicitation address by Dean E&T Dr.N.Ethiraj. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr.A.ManojBabu,Deputy HOD.
Key note address was delivered by the Chief Guest Dr.L.S.Jeyakumari mam, on the topic of Composites and its application and Characterization. It was informative, effortless with lots of applications and justifications .And at the end participants interacted to clarify their doubts.
Around 90 participants participated the session. Technical sessions followed the inaugural sessions in 4 different online venues.
By 3 pm the valedictory session started with the welcome address given by Dr.K.R.Vijakumar, Deputy HOD., followed by the special address by Joint registrar Dr.M.Ganesan. The need of material Characterisation and its significance was the essence of the special address and he suggested and highlighted on the other emerging areas.
Dr.J.Jayaprakash, professor concluded by summarising the day’s events and after the feedback by the participants Dr.Chandran, Coordinator of the conference, delivered the vote of thanks.
