Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) event on ’E-Waste Management’

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized an Institutional Social Responsibility(ISR) event on ’E-Waste Management’ on 13th April 2022 at 10.30am in the precinct of Kavibharathi Vidyalaya High School, Tiruvotriyur, Chennai.The event was started with a welcome address by Mr.J.Dharshan, Student coordinator followed by a speech about e-waste Management by Dr. M. Kumaresan.An expo was conducted for the students to exhibit their creative ideas in making the most of e-waste.The students have actively partaken and demonstrated their innovative ideas about the optimum use of obsolete electronic goods. Dr.M.Kumaresan, Mr.K.Manivannan and Ms.Margaret of ECE Department along with the third year ECE students have organized the event under the guidance of Ms.U.Jayalatsumi, Head of the Department. Prizes and certificates were given to students who came out with novel information. The school management thanked the department as well as institution for organising such an event. The department of ECE wholeheartedly thanks our Honourable President for his magnanimous support and guidance rendered for the event.
