Sir CV Raman Research Council, Office of Joint Registrar Research conducted Research Mirchi C10 on 27th June, 2025@ Civil Smart Room, and AbdulKalam Block. Research Mirchi – A hot round table discussion on Research was a vibrant and intellectually stimulating event brought together academicians and researchers to exchange insights and ideas on various aspects of research. The Speakers includes Dr. Koushik M, Dr. Balakumar, Dr. T.Sivaharivelan from the Department of Community Medicine at ACS Medical College and Hospital Dr. Priya and Dr. Nirmala from the Faculty of Computer Applications, Dr. Andal from the Department of Physics and moderated by Dean Dr.E.Kavitha.Their inputs offered fresh viewpoints and strategies for addressing challenges in the research landscape. Their efforts ensured a smooth flow of discussions and an engaging experience for all attendees.
The session concluded on a high note, leaving participants inspired and equipped with actionable insights to advance their research endeavors. During the discussion several AI tools were mentioned as aids for researchers, Turnitin and Mendeley were recommended for various purposes, including plagiarism checks, text analysis, and reference management including Zotero, Latex was endorsed as a useful software tool for reference. Selecting a journal for publication was discussed, with suggestions to use journal finders and evaluate a journal’s consistency in Scopus. Dr.Sendilvelan, Joint Registrar Research provided valuable insights on developing impactful research and refining writing techniques.
