Effective Tools for Enhancing Teaching and Learning Process – Day 1

Day 1 report of the Three days- Faculty Development Program on ” Effective Tools for Enhancing Teaching and Learning Process “organized by the Department of Mathematics, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute on 25th-27th February 2025. The event was conducted at the Seminar Hall, Anna block, Phase I campus. The Day 1 Session was commenced at 10.00 a.m with the Tamizhthai Vaazhthu and Dr. T.Johnson, Head, Dept. of Mathematics, welcomed the gathering. The Resource person of the Day 1 Event, Dr.L.Shobana, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics , SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai, had been introduced by the Research scholar, S.Priyadharshini, Dept. of Mathematics. In the session, Dr. L.Shobana explained, how to use AI tools in Teaching Mathematics. She gave hands on training on how to use the following tools namely ChatGPT, Scispace, Slido, Geogebra, Perplexity and Gamma AI in Classroom Teaching. She has also suggested the AI tools like Google studio, Gemini, Sora, Free dall, Storm, Deep seek, Eleven lab AI voice tool. The Day 1 session was informative and interactive to all the participants and make them eagerly waiting for the Day 2 session. Our Heartful thanks to our Hon.
