The session was started with a warm welcome by Dr.T.Kavitha, HoD and the speaker’s introduction was delivered by our student Rahul of III year , Civil department.
Dr. B. VIJAYA, HOD CIVIL, Thai Moogambikai Polytechnic College the speaker of the session was provided a comprehensive on the significance of the IS 456 codal provisions and recommendations indesign and construction of reinforced concrete structures.
This lecture was highly informative, offering a clear understanding of the fundamental principles of IS 456. The speaker’s emphasis to bridge theoretical concepts with practical examples enhanced my comprehension of the codal provisions in civil engineering. Explanation of the various loads and load combinations & Detailed examples of structural design and reinforcement detailing were discussed.
And the leture was ended up with interactive session with students. The students remained engaged and interactive throughout the session!. Dr. V.Manjula ( Asst. professor civil dept.) has delivered the vote of thanks.
