The celebration of Prosthodontists Day at Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital took place on January 29, 2024. The esteemed presence of our Honorable President, Secretary, Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and Dignitaries from the management added grace to the occasion. The festivities commenced on January 20, 2024, with a walkathon organized by IPS, involving active participation from IPS office bearers, faculty, and postgraduate students. Pamphlets were distributed, conveying awareness messages to the public.
Throughout the week, a series of scientific and cultural events engaged both undergraduate and postgraduate students, with enthusiastic participation. The culmination on January 29 included the distribution of prizes to the winners of these events. Meritorious students from 2022-23, in both undergraduate and postgraduate categories, were recognized with mementos and certificates, serving as motivation for their peers. The event concluded with a guest lecture by Dr. Jacob Mathew Philip on occlusion in implant dentistry, providing valuable insights to the participants. Overall, the celebration was a resounding success.
