Overview: On the auspicious date of 1st February 2024, the Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute played host to a significant event where our esteemed President inaugurated the Standard Clubs of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The ceremony also featured the felicitation of G. Bhavani, Scientist – E / Director & EAD Chennai Branch Office, BIS Southern Regional Office.

Badge Presentation: A significant moment in the ceremony was the distribution of badges to members of the Standard Clubs, representing disciplines such as Bio-Tech, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), and Mechanical Engineering. This symbolic gesture marked their official induction into the clubs, symbolizing their dedication to promoting excellence in their respective fields.
