40 students of B.Arch 3rd year along with three teaching faculty visited Saveetha eco school in Velappanchavadi Chennai on 6/3/23. The visit was part of their campus planning learning. The 5 acre campus was a IGBC LEED Platinum rated building.
Students learnt about different zones in an institutional campus and how they are interlinked to each other.
Innovative use of solar panel, rwh and waste management were visible in the campus tour. Use of landscape for various functions such as shading, wind barrier, privacy screen from the nearby apartments and defining different zones were very useful for the students.

I thank our President sir for letting us organise such events. Thank you to our dear Dean, HOD, asst HOD and addl HOD for providing strength and support for conducting the interactive session.
