Department of Commerce organized seminar on ” A Panel Discussion on Key Highlights and Priorities of Union Budget 2023 on 11/02/2023 in E &S campus conference hall.
Inauguration began with the welcome address by the head of the Department Dr. C.B SenthilKumar and Dr. J.B Jabaraj additional register delivered the inaugural address and felicitated the chief guest with a momento. MS. Sasikala .S Assistant Professor delivered the key note address. A brief introduction about chief guest Dr. G. Chokkalingam was delivered by Ms.Haritha Assistant Professor and session was handed over to the guest. He explained the Annual financial statement of yearly estimated receipts and expenditure of the government and next A brief introduction about chief guest Dr. R. Sivakumar was delivered by Ms. Famitha Assistant Professor and session was handed over to the guest. He explained the government economic policy measures by which a government attempts to influence the economy. Again, A brief introduction about chief guest C. Arun Kumar Assistant Professor was delivered by Ms.Soniya Assistant Professor and session was handed over to the guest. He explained about the budget plans and allocation. The guest speaker used presentation for students and staff for easy understanding. Finally the last session is handed over to A. Sundarm Inspector of Income Tax and He explained about Tax system and economic spending. The session was interactive with students and staff members. We thank Dr. G. Brinda Madam Department of MBA for the encouragement. The event was concluded with vote thanks by Ms.Arshiya Assistant Professor. We thank our honorable President Sir for the support and motivation.
