Faculty of Architecture feels delighted to share the report of a talk on ‘In Search of Indulgence’ organized on 30/01/2023 at 11.00 a.m. for B.Arch sixth semester students. The speaker for the session was Ar. Kinnera Varma, Co-Founder and Principal Architect, Studio Inscape and Ar. Anmol Perke, Architect- Studio Inscape. Ar. Varma spoke in detail about vasrious aspects of design process and the importance of taking a step back, critically analysing ones approach and proceeding in the design. Ar.Varma also explained the thought process behind one of her award winning projects. Ar.Perke showcased various sketches and process models that Studio Inscape had done for a large scale project and stressed on the importance of evolution of design. Ar. Kinnera Varma and Ar.Anmol Perke encouraged students to be bold and think loud using sketching and model making as mediums of expression. The talk concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session. Students wanted to know the ways in which they can make their studio competition project as Eco-friendly as the projects which were showcased. Ar.Kinnera Varma concluded by giving the inputs regarding sustainability and importance of knowing scope and limitations mentioned in students competition brief.
