Department of Mathematics of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute celebrated Srinivasa Ramanujan’s Day 2022 (National Mathematics Day) on 22.12.2022 at Planet M – Mathematics Lab, VOC Block. The Event was started with the Welcome address given by Dr.T.Johnson, Head-Mathematics Department. The chief guest of the program Prof.Dr.S.Ramalingam, Joint Registrar- Languages, Dr.M.G.R.Educational and Research Institute, gave the special address. It was interactive and motivated the students to achieve their goals. Following that, Cash prizes were given to the winners of various competitions conducted under the celebrations of 136th Birth Anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan from December 14-16, 2022. Finally, Vote of thanks was given by Mrs.S.Bhuvaneswari, Asst. Prof., Dept of Mathematics. The program was well organized by the conducting team under the Guidance of the Faculty coordinators of the Event, Dr.P.Sona,Asst.Prof/Mathematics and Ms.S.Bhuvaneswari, Asst.Prof/Mathematics.
