The Research Mirchi C06 was conducted by sir CV Raman journal club on the 29th November 2022 at Sri Lalithambigai Medical College and Hospital . Dr. L. Ramesh Joint registrar events and publications, Dean of SLMCH and Dr.S.Manivannan, Joint Registrar,SLMCH were graced the occasion. The event begun with the addressing of the crowd by Dr. Kamala from the Commerce department, followed by, a brief outline of the event by Dr. E. Kavitha. Which was followed by discussion by the panel of speakers, Dr. Balasubramaniam DEAN SLMCH, Dr. Madhan Jeyaraman – Associate Professor SLMCH , Dr. Subha Rajnikanth -Department of Pediatrics SLMCH, Dr.R.M.Narayanan Dean sponsor research, Dr. Wilson- MGR University, Dr.Manivannan Jr Slmch,Dr.Gejalakshmi Professor pharmacy, Dr. Natrajan – MGR University were in the Panel.
A hot discussion for the first time publishers, title selection, and the importance on having a research gate profile was emphasized. Furthermore a few platforms where we can access a few green journals were also shared. Using templates from LATEX was also discussed. It was so stated that we might have a training program for using the software. The access to green journals through sheparomeo website was also shared in the panel. The event came to a closure with the Vote of thanks by Dr. Rajeswari from CSE department.
