The 13th special lecture was organized by the Faculty of Law on the topic “Social structure and its relationship with Law” on 29th November 2022 from 11A.M. to 12.00 P.M. The speaker of this session was Mrs.Genani Assistant professor, center for women studies,Gandhigram,Dindugal. In this special lecture, the speaker provided excellent insights into the theory of law independent of the social order. According to the speaker, the methodological assumptions of theory of law is normative and has its own existence.
The speaker explained about the theory of law, dependent on the social order where the phenomena of law is within the society. The lecture was conducted with the guidance of the Director and the Dean (Faculty of Law). The session was initiated by Mrs.AR.Vijayalakshmi and Mrs.R.Kalaivani, Faculty of Law. Students and teachers from the Faculty of Law responded to the speaker in a creative way.
