Department of Mathematics, Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute is happy to share the report of “ A Three Days E – Workshop on R Software” 2022 conducted between 16-18th November 2022. On the first day 16 – 11 – 2022, the event was started at 2.00 PM with the welcome address by Dr. T. Johnson, HOD, Department of Mathematics. Mrs. P. Divya, Faculty Member introduced the Chief Guest to the audience. The Resource Person Dr. G.Uma, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, PSG College of Arts and Science had shared and enriched us with her great knowledge in R Software and its introduction, download, installation methods and Arithmetic calculations. 98 participants from various institutions in various disciplines had participated through online. The Program was hosted by Mr. Rooban Sanjay (II M.Sc )
On the Second Day 17 – 11 – 2022 the event was started at 2.00 PM. Dr. T. Johnson, HOD, Department of Mathematics has initiated the Session by welcoming the Guest Speaker and audience. The Session was hand overed to the Resource Person Dr. G.Uma, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, PSG College of Arts and Science who had delivered the session in an excellent way by demonstrating Graphical Representations of Data, Correlation, Regression with real life Examples. 172 participants from various institutions in various disciplines had participated through online and highly benefited.
On the Third Day 18 – 11- 2022 the event was started at 2.00 PM . Dr. T. Johnson, HOD, Department of Mathematics has initiated the Session by welcoming the Guest Speaker and audience. The Session was hand overed to the Resource Person Dr. G.Uma, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, PSG College of Arts and Science who had delivered the session by explaining ANOVA, Covariance and GG Plot with Real life examples. 135 participants from various institutions in various disciplines has participated through online. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. J.Sirisha, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics.
