Department of Chemistry’s Day – 13 Report

Today the department students visited organic lab where they need to perform FTIR .They have taken the crude in dry state and transferred 2mg to Eppendorf tube dissolved in 200 micro litre of acetone using micropipette and shaken well.After that they added a drop in Platinum ATR of each solvent separately and noted the spectrum. Around 2am they had their noon meal. After that they returned back to the lab and finished their saving process. Finally they weighted each sample for tomorrow purpose. They returned back to hostel at 5:15 PM.
