Technology talk on Systems Biology Modeling using Python

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Association with IEEE MGR Student Chapter conducted ” Technology talk on Systems Biology Modeling using Python” for final and third year BME & BMI Students on 05th August 2022. The Speaker of the session was Dr. S. Pitchumani Angayarkanni Associate Professor, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, Porur. The lecture was held through Google meet Platform and 70 students and all faculty members have participated. The session commenced at 02.00 PM. The programme was hosted by Ms.Sneha of 4th year EIE. The Welcome Address was given by Ms. Rithika of 4th year BMI. The Introductory Address was given by Ms. Monisha of 4th year BMI. The speaker elaborated on the Biology Modeling steps in the live session. The session was very interactive and students learned to use Biopython. The session concluded with a Q & A session. The session was very interactive and informative for the students. At the outset, we like to thank our HoD Dr. S. Bhuvaneswari, for her guidance, Organizing secretary Dr. F. Fareeza, Event coordinator Dr.S.Krishnaveni, Faculty members & Students for their active participation. Also, we would like to thank our Honourable President for the support and encouragement and thank our Vice Chancellor, Pro vice Chancellor, Registrar & Additional Registrar for the support and motivation to conduct the event.
