We are extremely happy and proud to share the report of Job Fair – 2022 conducted exclusively for 2018 batch students on 21st April 2022 at our university.
The Department staff members took profound initiatives and coordinated with leading core companies and brought in 10 companies at our campus out of 15 consented to be present. The job fair started graciously with an Inaugural ceremony in the seminar hall by traditionally lighting the kutthu vilakku. Dr.T.Kavitha, HoD/Civil delivered the welcome address. Dr.G.Gopalakrishnan, Pro vost, gave the gathering a very motivating and encouraging Inaugural address followed by special addresses from Dr.V.Cyril Raj, Additional Registrar, Dr.T. Felix Kala, Joint Registrar- Student Affairs , Dr.C.Balakrishnan, Dean-Placement-IIPC and Dr.N.Ethiraj, Dean/E&T. Provost Dr.G.Gopalakrishnan declared the Job Fair open.
54 students from UG, PG including passed out students have registered and 60% of our Final Year students received offer letters from 4 leading core companies on the same day itself. 25 % of the students are being shortlisted for the next technical rounds. 15% have been offered internships by Casagrand and Happy Cave companies. The Employers also have given overwhelming feedback and has assured to continue to work with our university in the years to come. This initiative has increased the self-esteem and confidence of our students too.
We acknowledge the contribution of coordinators Mrs.Bini Mylin, Dr.M.Narmatha and all faculty members for their support and coordination. We also thank *Dr.C.Balakrishnan sir and placement department for their support and cooperation.
This micro level job fair has tremendously turned into a mega fair with 100% placement for our students this year. We wholeheartedly express our gratitude to our Honorable President Er. A.C.S. Arun Kumar Sir for giving us the opportunity to conduct this job fair successfully to bring in many placements on a single day.
We also like to thank our Vice Chancellor Dr.S.Geethalakshmi mam, Registrar Dr.C.B.Palanivelu sir, senior Additional Registrar Dr.Kalidoss sir, Rector Dr.D.Vishwanthan sir, Joint Registrars and other Executives for their support and motivation in all our endeavors.
