Technical Seminar about Challenges in 5G Technology

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Technical Seminar about ‘Challenges in 5G Technology’ on 6th April 2022 at 11.30am through Google Meet. The speaker of the event was Mr.Yogananth Subramaniam, Senior Manager, Quality Head, Tamilnadu Circle, Ericsson. The event started off with a Welcome Address by Prof.U.Jayalatsumi, the Head of the Department. Mr.B.Ramesh, Assistant Professor/ECE Department introduced the speaker to the audience present virtually. The Guest Speaker delivered about the evolution of mobile technology spanning across the last three decades. It was an eye-opener for the students who are keen about pursuing their career in telecommunication. Besides he explained the intricacies of 5G technology applied in the latest fields of IoT and Automation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr.N.Lakshminarayanan, Assistant Professor/ECE Department. The department of ECE wholeheartedly thanks our Honourable President for his magnanimous support and guidance rendered for the event.
