Institutional Social Responsibiliy (ISR), Awareness Program on “SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on 29th March 2022 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm at Vishwas Nagar, Venkateshwara Nagar, Maduravoyal, Chennai. Dr.T.Kavitha, HOD Department of Civil Engineering, Dr.T.Felix Kala, Joint Registrar (Students Affairs), Dr.S.Arivalagan, Joint Registrar (Infrastructure) Dr.RA.B.Depaa (Deputy HOD), Event Organisers Dr.R.Sudhakar, Deputy Dean (Civil Engineering) and Mr.D.Ramakrishna, Assistant Professor, Event Convenor Dr.M.Manikandan along with the students of Civil Department enumerated the importance of reduce, recycle and reuse concept. The idea of reducing solid waste was emphasized to the general public in the Residential layouts at Maduravoyal by distributing brochures and by giving oral explanation as well.
