The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Association with IEEE MGR Student Chapter conducted an Institutional Social Responsibility on Lecture on “AWARNESS ON ORGANIC FOOD” for Students on 25th February 2022. The Speaker of the session was Mr. G. PAUL SEBASTIAN Educationalist & Environmentalist Chennai. The lecture was held via Google Meet platform and more than 90 students participated. The session commenced around 10.30 A.M.
The Speaker was introduced by Ms.Saranya IV BMI. The Host of the session was Ms.Suwetha IV EIE Student Coordinator. The Welcome address was given by Ms.Shruthi Sangamithra IV BMI.
The speaker discussed about organic food and its importance, How to avoid Junk food for Adult children. He discussed about How Fruits and Vegetables are used in improve our Immune system & increase the Digestive System. He Elaborated about different types of Organic Rice and Health benefits of black rice &Red Rice. Finally, He concluded the lecture by insisting to take Organic Food .
The session concluded with Q & A session. The session was very interactive and informative for the students.
