Guest Lecture
on
“Advanced Web technologies”
The Department of Information Technology conducted a guest lecture for all the students on February 9th, 2022 between 2 p.m to 4 p.m. The lecture was given by Mrs. K. Nithya, Assistant Professor, Department of IT on the topic “Advanced Web technologies”. The session was streamed online through YouTube.
The session started with an introduction by Ms. Divyashree, IV Yr. This was followed by a formal welcome address by Prof. Dr. T. Nalini, Professor, Department of IT. The resource person Mrs. K. Nithya was introduced and the session was handed over to her.
Mrs. K. Nithya in her lecture she covered what is a web technology, how it is important for building web pages. She briefed on different web technologies. She covered the topics on servlets, sessions and cookies. She patiently answered the queries posted by the students in the chat box.
To end the event, Mr. Zaid Rasool Khan, IV Yr delivered the vote of thanks. The webinar was attended by all the department students and they were highly benefited. The overall event was coordinated by Mrs. C.Tamilselvi, Assistant Professor, Department of IT. We thank our honourable President Er. ACS .
