Faculty Development Program on Recent Trends in 5G Technologies

The Department of ECE in association with Academic Staff College organizes Six days Faculty Development Program on Recent Trends in 5G Technologies from 06.12.2021 to 11.12.2021. The DAY 2 (07.12.2021) session-1 was about “5G mobile Edge Computing on Low latency Applications”. The Resource person was our Proud Alumnus 2005 batch Dr. Sumit Maheshwari, Software Engineer, Microsoft. The session-2 was about “Evolution, Fundamentals and Future Applications of 5G Technology. The resource person was Mr. Jayanandan, Founder & CEO, Tesla Minds. The session-1 and session-2 of the event were started off with the guest speakers introduction by Dr. K. Sudhaman, Deputy Head, Dept of ECE and Mr. K. Manivannan, Assistant Professor, Dept of ECE respectively. The resource persons shared their knowledge on the applications of 5G technology and Low Latency Mobile Computing applications using 5G technology. Both the sessions were highly informative and interactive. The sessions were concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. M. Kumaresan, Professor, Dept. of ECE. The event was coordinated by Dr. M. Kumaresan and Mr. K. Manivannan. We thank our Honourable President and executives for giving us the constant support and encouragement.
