The Faculty of Humanities and Science, Adayalampattu Phase II Campus, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute organized the Student Induction Day Program for the First year UG H & S students of 2021 Batch on 01.11.2021. The program was live-streamed on the YouTube Channel of Phase II Campus.
Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr.S.Geethalakshmi gave the introductory address. Dr.V.Cyril Raj ,Additional Registrar (Administration) gave the special address. Felicitation address was given by Prof.M.Prabu, JR(H&S) Phase II and Prof.Dr.S.Ramalingam,JR(Languages).Welcome address was given by Dr.A.R.Arunachalam,Dean(Academic) Phase II and Vote of Thanks was given by Dr.K.Senthil Kumar,Dean(Admin) Phase II. The speaker for the session was Ms.Gauri Das who is a TEDx Speaker/HR Leader/Global Speaker/Mentor. She gave some very valuable inputs to the students. Introduction about each department was given by the respective HoD’s Mr.S.Vetrivel, Dr.S.Valliammai,Dr.R.Jayam and Mrs.M.Mahmuda Begum. Compering was done by Mr.V.Balaji,AP/Tamil and Mrs.Nivedha Rajid,AP/HRM.
The program turned out to be useful and a valuable session for the all the students who watched the event live.
