The Department of English, Faculty of Humanities and Science organised an ISR event on Enhancing English Language Skills of Secondary level school children across Tamilnadu at Mary Clubwala Jadhav Special Higher Secondary School for Hearing Impaired, Anna Nagar West on 29/10/2021. Trainer’s were the students of III B.A English.
The main objective of the program is to motivate the students to develop a positive attitude towards learning English Language. The trainers prepared PPT, worksheets and gave activities to the students to make them enrich their vocabulary and language usage. The students actively and enthusiastically participated in all the activities which instilled them a self confidence. The students gave the feedback that they liked the program and wanted to have such programs in their school. The principal and teachers expressed their interest in the program and wished for many such extension services from our University. Overall the program was a huge success. The event was organised by Ms. D.Deepa Assistant Professor, Coordinator of the event and other faculty members Ms.J.Jothy Assistant Professor, Ms K.Saranya Assistant Professor and Ms. R. Jaya Soundarya Assistant Professor.
