With the Blessings, Inspiration and Motivation from our Honorable President Er. A.C.S. Arun kumar, Our Department in Association with Mr. R. Srinivasan Transport In-charge and Dr. P.S. Raja kumar University NSS Coordinator organized an ISR Event Awareness talk on Hybrid Technology on 21.10.2021 at the CAD-CAM lab. The resource person for the event were Mr. Raghav Narayanan, General Manager, and Mr. Hari Krishnan ,Training Head, Lancet Toyota, koyambedu, Chennai.
The event commence with Inaugural address delivered by Dr.K.Rajan, Professor & Head, He introduced the chief guest and briefly touched upon this technology. Then Mr. Raghav Narayanan gave a brief introduction about the company and also discussed upon various categories of pollutants. Mr. Hari Krishnan then went into the technical aspect of the hybrid vehicle by classifying them accordingly and also mentioned the pros and cons of e-vehicle vis a vis hybrid vehicles .Overall the session was interactive with queries were put forward by both students and faculty, which were satisfactorily answered by the resource persons. The event concluded with the mementos presented to Mr. Raghav Narayanan by Dr.N.Ethiraj Dean E&T and Mr. Hari Krishnan by Dr.K.Rajan Prof &Head of the Dept. Vote of thanks delivered by Dr. A. There was a demo on Hybrid vehicles of Toyota for both students and staff given by the resource persons later.
