On 7th October 2021 FoMS organized a “Institutional Social responsibility” event on “Organ Donation awareness” by Mr.R.Vinoth Kumar, Organ Transplant Coordinator, Tirunelveli Medical College and Hospital, Tirunelveli. Students got clear explanations about various Organ donation procedures. Speaker also explained various concepts like organs which can donate, donations between relatives and non relatives, pre renal Transplant workup, pre and post transplant do’s and dont’s. How we register to get donor’s and how we register to donate etc. Overall the session created great awareness about donation.
