On 30 Sept 2021 FoMS organized a ‘Professional society event’ on “Six Sigma” by Mr.V.K.Venkataramani, Corporate Consultant (NIQR), Chennai. Speaker covered the most powerful Six Sigma tools to be used for avoiding problems. He explained various concepts like data driven approach, training and culture change, DMAIC, 5S, value stream mapping etc.. At the end of this session, students became aware of traditional problem solving tools to lead their organization with better thought-out decisions which would help them avoid negative, unintended consequences. Overall the session was much informative.
