Effective Tools for Enhancing Teaching and Learning Process – Day 2

Day 2 report of the Three days- Faculty Development Program on ” Effective Tools for Enhancing Teaching and Learning Process “organized by the Department of Mathematics, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute on 25th-27th February 2025. The event was conducted at the Seminar Hall, Anna block, Phase I campus. The Day 2 Session was commenced at 10.00 a.m with the Tamizhthai Vaazhthu and Dr. T.Johnson, Head, Dept. of Mathematics, welcomed the gathering. The Resource person of the Day 2 Event, Dr.A.Parthiban, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics , Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, had been introduced by the Research scholar, S.Priyadharshini, Dept. of Mathematics. In the session, Dr.A.Parthiban gave a hands on training on, how to sign in for the Open Basic version of MATLAB. He also explained how to use the Command area to do basic Mathematical calculations, Solving system of linear equations and non-linear equations, Finding the differential and Integral of the functions. Solving Ordinary Differential Equations with initial conditions. The Day 2 session was informative and interactive to all the participants and make them eagerly waiting for the Day 3 session.
