Three days- Faculty Development Program on ” Effective Tools for Enhancing Teaching and Learning Process “

We hereby submit the Day 3 report of the Three days- Faculty Development Program on ” Effective Tools for Enhancing Teaching and Learning Process ” Organized by the Department of Mathematics, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute on 25th-27th February 2025. The event was conducted at the Seminar Hall, Anna block, Phase I campus. The Day 3 Session was commenced at 10.00 a.m with the Tamizhthai Vaazhthu and Dr. T.Johnson, Head, Dept. of Mathematics, welcomed the gathering. The Resource person of the Day 3 Event, Dr.A.Felix, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics , Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, had been introduced by the Research scholar, Ms.S.Priyadharshini, Dept. of Mathematics. In the session, Dr.A.Felix gave a hands on training on, how to use Python programming to do basic Arithmetic calculations, Matrix operations, Solving system of linear and non-linear equations, Finding correlation coefficients and Regression lines. He further explained how to feed the data and analyze it through various statistical tools available in the python programming packages. The Day 3 session was informative and interactive to all the participants. Our Heartful thanks to our Hon. President for his continuous support and encouragement. We thank the Event Manager Mrs.Y.Sabithabanu and the Event Coordinators, Dr.P.Abirami, Assistant Professor and Mrs.M. Sridevi, Associate Professor Dept. of Mathematics, for their co-ordination . We also thank Mrs. Lakshmi Priya, Assistant professor, for compering the Event and Mr.Rooban sanjai, Research scholar for his coordination. Finally, we thank all the Faculty members for their active participation in all three days.
