The Department of Fashion Design, Adayalampattu Phase II Campus, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute organized an international seminar on “Portfolio Management” on 28.1.2025 at Phase II Campus.
The session was handled by Ms. Mekeba Lewis, International Academic at Chelsea, Wimbledon College of Arts, University of Arts, London.
Students from First Year, Second Year & Third Year of B.Sc. (FD) and Second Year of B.Des attended the seminar. The session effectively outlined the comprehensive portfolio management process designed for fashion students, emphasizing key themes such as creative presentation, branding and research etc.. Students learned the importance of structuring their portfolios with visually engaging boards that highlight their unique styles, technical skills, conceptual themes, ultimately preparing them to showcase their work confidently and professionally for final evaluations.
