The Faculty of Law celebrated Human Rights Day & National Law Day on 10th December 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Banquet Hall, Phase II Campus.
The celebration highlighted the significance of human rights and the role of law in ensuring justice and equality. The students participated enthusiastically, gaining valuable insights into the importance of upholding human rights and the legal profession’s contribution to their protection. The event also fostered engaging discussions with the esteemed speaker. The speaker also delivered an insightful address on the Constitution. The event underscored the interconnection between human rights and the Constitution, emphasizing the legal profession’s duty to uphold these values. Students gained valuable insights into the importance of ethical practice in law and the responsibility to address human rights issues in a dynamic global environment. The Faculty of Law conducted few activities for students like poster making, Elocution & Skit. The students who secured first position in these activities were awarded prizes by the chief guest of the event.
The session was organized and executed by Dr. R. Gomathy Sankari and under the convenorship of Mrs. R. Jeevitha, with the guidance and support of Director Prof. Dr. N. Murugavel and Dean Prof. Dr. K. Murugadoss.
