75 special Lecture series on “The Overview of Information Technology Act, 2000”

The faculty of law has organised the 60th of 75 special Lecture series on “The Overview of Information Technology Act, 2000” on 24th July 2024, from 12:00 am to 1:50 pm at the Phase 2 campus, DR.MGRERI. The Chief speaker of the day was Mr. Gokul Prasad S, Faculty of law, The Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, School of Excellence in Law. The speaker discussed about the legal recognition for transactions carried out by means of electronic data interchange and other means of electronic communication. The speaker elaborated on the cybercrime, data protection and privacy. The speaker discussed on the penalties and imprisonments under the Information Technology Act and it’s importance in today’s era. The session was organised by Mrs. R.Shalini.
