The faculty of law has organised the 69th of 75 special Lecture series on “Emerging trends in International law” on 31st July 2024, from 12:00 am to 01:30 pm at the Phase 2 campus, DR.MGRERI. The Chief speaker of the day was Ms. Deepika, Assistant Professor, Vels school of law. The speaker discussed the development of international law that has been effective working through multilateral law-making treaties. The speaker discussed about the rules of law relating to the functioning of international institutions or organisations, their relations with each other, and their relations with states and individual. The speaker also pointed out that the current acquis states that human rights and fundamental freedoms apply online as well as offline, which means they should be respected, protected, and promoted in cyberspace.
