The International mother language day is celebrated to promote linguistics and cultural diversity. At Phase II campus, Dept. of Chemistry organised an interdisciplinary lecture on International Mother language day on 21st Feb 2024. Dr.R.Kavitha, Assistant Professor of Tamil dept. was invited as resource person of the day. Dr.A.R.Arunachalam Dean – Academics felicitated the gathering. Mr.Vetrivel HoD – i/c Tamil, addressed the gathering about tamil language. The B.Sc. students of department of chemistry beautifully hosted the program with welcome address, Speaker’s introduction and vote of thanks all in Divine Tamil. The speaker gave a fabulous speech about significance of mother language specially on tamil as mother language with various citations from ancient tamil literature.
