International Women’s Day celebration organized by the Faculty of Education

We are delighted to share a report of International Women’s Day celebration organized by the Faculty of Education, Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute on 8th March 2024. Empowering speech delivered by Dr.K.Geetha, Principal about resilience, equality, and female empowerment. Her words echoed the importance of women’s contributions and urged for continued progress towards gender equality. Through her address, she inspired unity and solidarity in the pursuit of women’s rights and opportunities. B.Ed. I year and II year students participated in an energetic fusion of music, dance, interactive games, and thought-provoking discussions. Participants engaged in lively discussions, enjoyed cultural performances, and bonded over fun-filled games, fostering a sense of unity and empowerment. The event served as a reminder of the importance of collective action in creating a more inclusive and equitable society. The faculty extends its sincere gratitude to our esteemed president for granting us the opportunity to orchestrate this event for our future educators.
