Technical talk conducted by the Department of Mathematics titled “Applications of Mathematics” held on 20/3/2024 in the PLANETM lab, Department of Mathematics, Main Campus, Dr. MGR E & R I. The Event was started at 10.30 am with Tamil Thai vazhthu and welcome address was given by the Head of the Department, Dr.T.Johnson. The Introduction of the Guest Speaker Dr.N.Ramya, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Bharath Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai was given by Ms.Priyadharshini, Research Scholar, Dept. of Mathematics. In her lecture, Dr.N.Ramya explained how Mathematics has applied in various fields of Science and Technology. The session
was very interesting and gave a deep insight into the subject. At the end of the talk, the questions raised by Participants were answered by the speaker. Vote of thanks was given by the event coordinator, Dr. S.Gayathridevi, Asso.Professor, Dept of Mathematics. The program ended with the National Anthem. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our Hon.
